USE CASE

A free quiz maker with no ads — for students or for you.

Quizoma is a free quiz maker with no ads anywhere: not on the quiz screen, not in the results and not on this website. Here is why that matters in a classroom, and what the honest limits are.

Why ads are a problem in a classroom tool

An advert on a quiz screen is not a small cost. It takes attention in the one minute you asked the class to concentrate. It puts content you did not choose onto thirty devices and sometimes onto the projector. And a tool paid for by advertising needs students to keep looking at it, which pulls its design towards engagement rather than towards finding out what they know.

It is also a question of whose device it is. Many students take quizzes on a family phone or a school laptop. A teacher who sets a quiz should not be the reason a child is shown an offer.

What Quizoma does instead

  • No ads in the Android app, in Quizoma Studio, on the quiz-taking page or on this website.
  • No in-app purchases. Nothing in a lesson turns into a prompt to buy something, and no feature is locked.
  • No selling data. What Quizoma stores exists to run quizzes and produce your reports. Product analytics on this website only start if a visitor accepts the cookie banner.

A worked example: one lesson, no interruptions

You put a 6-character quiz code on the board. Thirty students open quizoma.com/take on whatever they have — a few phones, a set of Chromebooks, one borrowed laptop — and sign in with Google. Questions arrive one at a time with nothing between them. When a student submits, they see their result or a note that the paper is in, depending on how you set the quiz up. There is no countdown to a bonus, no banner, no "upgrade" screen.

Afterwards you open the results, auto-grade short answers or mark them yourself, and export a PDF report to file. At no point did anybody in the room see an advert.

What "free" covers today

Every feature is free to use today, with no per-seat pricing. So that nobody is surprised, here are the default limits: 10 quizzes per account, 20 questions per quiz and 50 quizzes joined. They are defaults rather than a paywall, and the Quizoma team can adjust them without an app update. Everyone signs in with a Google account.

Check it yourself

The quickest test of any quiz tool is to take a quiz on your own phone before you set one for a class. Build a short one in the online quiz maker, join it at quizoma.com/take, and look for anything that is not your questions. Then read the privacy policy, which lists every service that receives data and why.
